Welcome to Abbey Hill Primary and Nursery School. We are a happy and inclusive primary and nursery school in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We are Ofsted-rated Good and "A gem of a school!". Pupils can begin at Abbey Hill from 2 years old, in our pre-school provision.

Our school vision is "Achieving our Dreams Together". We value the ambitions, hopes and dreams of all of our Abbeyhillians and strive to support them to achieve or be able to achieve those dreams in their futures. 

Our school takes a relational approach where Abbeyhillians (our pupils and our staff) are nurtured, listened to and put at the heart of all we do. We believe that everyone in school should enjoy their learning and feel proud of their achievements.

Pupil voice is key and we take the views of our Abbeyhillians into account in lots of school life.

To prepare our Abbeyhillians for the brightest futures, our curriculum begins with ourselves, here and now in Kirkby for our youngest Abbeyhillians and widens out around the world, learning about a range of people, cultures, places, values and beliefs. We pride ourselves on an enrichment package that enables our pupils to achieve this, with opportunities broadening experiences during their Abbeyhillian careers.
