Our English Curriculum

At Abbey Hill, we breathe reading in and we breathe writing out.

 

We place such a value on reading and writing that our pupils are fully-published authors!

Our English curriculum links to our Learning Projects, giving us opportunities to deepen and widen our understanding of the curriculum we are exploring whilst communicating our blossoming knowledge through written outcomes.

We have a Patron of Reading, called Gareth Baker, who works closely with our pupils and families to support Reading and Writing across Abbey Hill.
