The school is on an exciting adventure which places opportunity and achievement for our Abbeyhillians at its heart. Our school vision is ‘Achieving our Dreams Together’ and every single member of staff is fiercely ambitious about the achievements and care of all of our Abbeyhillians. This is a relational school and our practices are informed by this. We work together as a staff team to support our pupils and their families.

At Abbey Hill, you will find a dedicated staff team who work tirelessly and positively for every single Abbeyhillian. Our approach to the curriculum seeks to make meaningful opportunities for pupils to apply their knowledge and skills. We have a clear drive to ensure our pupils have the core skills in English and Maths, needed to succeed in the modern world but imagination and opportunities to express creative talents are important to us all too. Reading is at the heart of all we do and a significant amount of work continues to take place to ensure that our pupils develop both a love and skill for reading.

We are proud of our happy, friendly school and of the children and families who make up our Abbeyhillian community.
