Welcome to The Heart of The Hill.

The Heart of The Hill is our new community hub at Abbey Hill – a warm, welcoming and flexible space created for our families and the wider Coxmoor community.

We believe that thriving children are supported by thriving families. That is why we wanted to create somewhere that brings support closer to the people who need it: a familiar place where families can meet, connect, learn and access help, and where community organisations can work alongside us.

From Stay and Play sessions and parent coffee mornings to family learning, wellbeing activities, advice, food support and sessions delivered by our community partners, The Heart of The Hill will be home to an evolving programme shaped around the needs of our community. To access these sessions, please look out for adverts and promotional materials shared by partner organisations who run their sessions in this space.

Importantly, it isn't only about supporting families once their children arrive at Abbey Hill. We want to build relationships with families before their children even begin school, helping to strengthen confidence, resilience and school readiness from the very beginning.

This is a place where families are welcomed, organisations come together and opportunities begin.  At the heart of the school grounds. At the heart of our Abbeyhillian Community.
